We need to keep an up-to-date email address for all our users in order to be able to communicate with them, help them recover their passwords and so on. For this reason, every time you change your email address or when you create your account we have to verify your email address.
During email verification we would send you a six digit code which you need to enter on the website, or you can follow the link in the email. This helps us confirm your email address exists and you have acccess to it.
When creating a new account, or changing an email address in an existing account, our system automatically sends you a confirmation email. This email contains special link which confirms your email address.
Follow these steps to verify your email address:
Open your email inbox. For example if you have your email address at gmail.com, go to gmail.com to see your inbox.
Find email with subject "Eolymp: Confirm your email address" (subject might be different depending on the locale) from noreply@eolymp.com.
Click the link in the email.
If you followed all the steps, you should see a message about your email being confirmed. Now your account is ready!
Your account will be inactive until you verify your email address. If you change your email address, your account will be deactivated until you confirm your email address.
I don't see email in my inbox
Make sure you've entered the correct email address in your account.
Make sure you are checking the correct mailbox. Don't forget to include Spam and Trash folders in your search. Try to search using Eolymp's email address noreply@eolymp.com.
If you are using Gmail, check folders "Promotions" and "Social".
If you still can't find the email, you can resend it at account page. Sign in using your account and click label "Not verified" under the email address.
The link leads to a page which does not exist
This happens when you change your email address multiple times. Every time you change your email address, a new confirmation link is generated and, the previous one is invalidated. Make sure you are using the link in the latest email.
