The console is where you run your space: you create problems there, set up contests and courses, manage the people who take part, and publish the pages your participants read. Everything you do in the console shows up on your space's own website, which is what participants see.
If you're just starting, you need two things: an account, and a space. You sign in to the console with your Eolymp account — the same account you'd use anywhere else on the platform. A space is your own corner of the platform, with its own website, members, problems and contests. One account can belong to many spaces.
Section | What it's for |
|---|---|
Write problems: statements, tests, checkers, solutions. Your space's problem library. | |
Every submission made in your space, with its verdict and per-test results. | |
The people in your space, and everything attached to them — groups, teams, achievements, penalties. | |
Set up and run contests, from a practice round to a national olympiad. | |
Teach: modules, materials, assignments and grades. | |
Answer questions participants ask during a contest. | |
The pages, posts and emails your space sends and shows. | |
Rules that react to events in your space so you don't have to. | |
Your space itself: its address, who can do what, and your plan. |
The console puts one sidebar on the left of every screen, and that sidebar is the whole navigation — see Find your way around the console.
Don't be surprised if your sidebar looks different from a colleague's. Sections appear only when you have permission to use them, and some also depend on your plan. If something you expect is missing, Why a section is missing explains which of the two it is and how to fix it.
The console is the authoring side. The result is served to participants at your space's own address, <key>.eolymp.space, where they solve problems, compete and read what you publish. Several screens in the console have a View button that opens the corresponding public page, which is the quickest way to check how something looks before anyone else sees it.
